Harold D. Wohlford, 79, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday April 16, 2013 at 1:50 pm at Norwood Health and Rehabilitation, Huntington.  He was a 1952 graduate of Roanoke High School.  He worked as a foreman at Schacht Rubber from 1955 – 1981 and at the Huntington reservoir from 1981 – 1999.  
Harold was born January 5, 1934 in Roanoke, the son of Walter V. and Grace (Christ) Wohlford.  On November 1, 1952 he married his beloved wife of 60 years Sybble L. Miller in Benton, Arkansas and she survives in Huntington.  Also surviving are 3 sons Larry Lee Wohlford of Norfolk, VA, Dennis Ray Wohlford of Huntington, and Michael Dan (Patricia) Wohlford of Wabash, 2 daughters Debra Jo (Alfred) Mitchell of Wabash, and Brenda Kay Benson of Roanoke, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers Paul Jay (Shirley) Wohlford of Anderson and Stephen Lynn (Mary Ann) Wohlford of Indianapolis, and 2 sisters Carolyn May (Glenn) Bansbach of Lakeland, FL and Sandra Ellen Wiley of Roanoke. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Charles (Chuck) Lee Wohlford and Max Vernon Wohlford, and sister Martha Jean Mauman.
Visitation will be held Friday April 19 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm and 1 hour prior to the funeral service Saturday April 20 at 11:00 am at Deal-Rice Funeral Home- Huntington Chapel with Pastor Doug Shaw officiating.

You have our deepest sympathy, for your loss.
I was his friend, and enjoyed the time we spent
together. Both at the gun shop and where we
worked. When ever you loose some one like
Harold, you have to remember the good times.
That is the way I will always remember him.

My prayers go out to the entire Wohlford family. Even though Harold was a stubborn man - he was loved and will be missed by all.
