Delores I. Miller, age 93, of Huntington, went to be with her Lord Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 8:30 pm at Parkview Huntington Hospital. She worked at Bradley Drug Store, Wolf & Dessauer, and then in the cafeteria at Lincoln Elementary School for 33 years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of the former Good Shepherd Church and attended The Well. She enjoyed collecting Precious Moments and spending joyous times with her family.
Delores was born January 25, 1926, in Decatur, a daughter of Lafayette and Mary (Gable) Fry. She married her beloved husband Max Miller and he passed away December 23, 1981. She is survived by a daughter Carol (Donald) Crowe of Englewood, Ohio, 3 grandchildren Tabatha (Brandon) Lisinicchia, John (Hudson) Crowe, and Debra (Brian) Harvey, 5 great-grandchildren Melanie Lisinicchia, Vincent Lisinicchia, Dominic Lisinicchia, Joel Harvey and Matthew Harvey. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Ronald L. Miller, 5 brothers Elwood, Frank, James, George, and Kenneth Fry, 3 sisters Hazel Foor, Bertha Mason, Dorothy Fry and infant sister Alice Fry.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 19 from 5-7 pm at at Deal-Rice Funeral Homes- Huntington Chapel and Wednesday, March 20 from 9-10 am prior to the 10:00 am funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
