Carolann Sherbahn, age 81, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020, at 8:05 pm at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She graduated from Roanoke High School in 1957. She worked in the office at Hillman’s China Shop, Fort Wayne, and Panel Mart. Carolann was a member of Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed knitting and reading.
Carolann was born April 21, 1939, in Warsaw, a daughter of Marshall and Ruth (Stuckman) Gay. On January 18, 1958 she married her beloved husband of 55 years David L. Sherbahn at Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death February 1, 2013. She is survived by 3 sons Daniel (Karen) Sherbahn of Columbia City, John David (Vickie) Sherbahn of Fort Wayne, and Dennis (Michelle) Sherbahn of Fort Wayne, 4 grandchildren Samantha, Jennifer, Jessica, and Jocelyn Sherbahn and a sister Sylvia (Samuel) Gibson Kirkland of LaBelle, Florida. She was preceded in death by a brother James Gay.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 3, from 5-7 pm and Wednesday, November 4 from 9:30 – 10:30 am preceding the 10:30 am funeral service at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes. Burial will follow in Pleasant Chapel Cemetery, Roanoke.
