Obituary

Daisy W. Hasty, age 95, of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 1:05 AM at Parkview Huntington Hospital.  She worked at Memcor and attended Etna Avenue Wesleyan Church.  Daisy enjoyed working puzzles, but the greatest joy of her life was spending time with her family.

Daisy was born July 14, 1926, in Huntington, a daughter of Thomas and Icy (Gilbert) Pinkerton.  On November 28,1945 she married her beloved husband of 57 years Lloyd Hasty in Lagro. He passed away February 9, 2003. Surviving are daughter Sandra Rupert of Huntington, grandchildren Robin (Tim) Lee, Cory McClure Rupert, Scott Hasty, Josie Kinnamon, great-grandchildren Aries (Taryn), Malachi, Azariah, Dalton, Lane, Brandon, Kari, Kasey, and six great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son Terry Hasty, a grandson Terry Hasty Jr.,  and brothers and sisters  Willard, Lloyd, Ethel and Betty.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 11 from 12-2 pm at Deal-Rice Funeral Homes-Huntington Chapel preceding the 2:30 pm graveside service at Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
