Donald E. Wolf, age 79, of Edmonton, KY, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He graduated Union Township High school in 1961, served in the US Air Force, and was a lifelong farmer. His passion was horses and cattle, he raised thoroughbred racehorses, cutting and reigning horses and beef cattle.
Donald was born December 1, 1942, in Roanoke, a son of Frederick and Violet (Burton) Wolf. He is survived by three sons Thomas ( Sandi) Wolf of Center AL, Richard (Mindy) Wolf of Raleigh, NC, Randall (Tammy) Wolf of Charlotte, NC, grandchildren Jacob Wolf, Eli (Brooke) Wolf, Brittany (Vincent) Mesolella, Madison (Nate) Miller, Olivia (Andrew) Suriano, Christy (Morgan) Staal, Grant Wolf, Garrett Wolf, eight great-grandchildren, three sisters Mary Lou Wilcox of Urbana, Sharon Kissinger of Edgerton, OH, Shirley Noble of Fishers and two brothers John Wolf of Temperance, MI, and Dean Wolf of Roanoke. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother David Wolf.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 5 from 3-4 pm at preceding the 4:00 pm memorial service at Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes. Pastor Ken Thompson will officiate.
