Karlita J. Scher, age 89, of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, December 09, 2020, at 1:09 am at Millers Merry Manor, Huntington.  She was a Real Estate Broker for 15 years, a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, where she sang in the choir.  She was a member of Forever Friends and enjoyed sewing, quilting and candle making.

Karlita was born May 5, 1931, in Fort Wayne, a daughter of William Otto and Bess (VanArsdol) Kline.  She is survived by 3 daughters Mary “Kathy” Harrell of Huntington, Linda (Dennis) Leist of Huntington, and Teresa Burry of Swayzee, a son Dennis Scher of Perrysburg, Ohio, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a brother William Kline.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 11 from 9:30 – 10:30 am preceding the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Father Tony Steinacker will officiate.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Roanoke.
