Parker S. Thompson, age 21, passed away Sunday, December 27, at 5:52 pm in Fort Wayne. He graduated from Huntington North High School in 2017. He worked as a landscaper for McGuinn’s Lawn Care. He had been a boy scout, and was a member of Mission House Church where he was on the worship team. He enjoyed making people laugh, wrestling, playing football and baseball, writing songs, working out, and most of all he loved Jesus with all his heart..
Parker was born April 14, 1999, in Fort Wayne, a son of Megan Thompson Anderson and Matthew Babis. He is survived by his parents both of Fort Wayne, the father who raised him Matt Anderson of Huntington and step-mother Ashley Anderson of Huntington, siblings Emma Thompson of Huntington, Mason Anderson of Fort Wayne, Kaydence Anderson of Huntington, Liberty Anderson of Huntington, grandfathers Ernest Little of Huntington and Pat Alles of Roanoke, aunts Erin (Tyler) Working of Huntington, Honesty (Caleb) Sorlie of Fort Wayne, Jennifer (Joe) Hopkins of Dayton, OH, uncle Nick (Emily) Alles of Huntington and great-uncle Kent (Crystal) Gressley of Van Buren. He was preceded in death by a grandmother Denise Alles.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 3 from 2-6 pm at Deal-Rice Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, and Monday January 4 from 10-11 am preceding the 11:00 am funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Star of Hope Cemetery.
